It's actually harder in the larger scales to detail because you have to be more accurate. In 1/24 scale I can use my imagination to finish wiring etc.. but in 1/12 scale if it's wrong it's obvious. Having said that I love the scale. This is my second 1/12 car (I've done a few bikes before ) and finding reference material and researching the car and the details is fascinating.

I smacked head first into a brick wall with my hopes for the bike...seems no-one was interested All the contacts that I managed to source simply couldn't be bothered helping....to be fair I lost interest and will continue to donate in the usual manner. Having been through tough times, and almost losing my Son when he was just 3, charities that research cancer need everyone to help however they can.



Anyway, on to the progress with the 935

I love the older race cars. They look so hand made and imperfect. The new cars look boring and almost clinical. I would say do the Lemans car, but you have the later intercoolers not yet used at LM in 1976.
I was amazed at how much the engine changed on these cars during 1976 when I researched my 1/24th model.

Lost for words it has to be the best 935 build I have seen, just love the detail. The weathering really brings it to life. That front end looks totally real, can't wait for the next update! I am going to build the 1:12, 934 sometime soon with the SMS set, but not to this detail, it would take me about 10 years with your detail, and still be no where near.
