P12 Primera - European or Japanese?
I didn't realize how much traffic existed on the G20 forum. I would have posted this on the Nissan/Primera forum, but that area is deader than a cemetary.
The next Primera has been redesigned, reviewed, and responded to, within the automotive public. Whether or not it will become the States's next G-car remains cryptic. There is only one aspect of this machine that leaves me all ears: Is the new design a motion towards the 'french connection' (Renault)? Specific data states that the P12 was finished before the initial partial-buyout. Yet, many say that the design was concocted via european influence, especially since past Primeras have had high sales in this region of the earth. It retains Nissan's cosmetic effect in the leading edge. But the trailing aft tells a new story. Especially with Nissan's unpredictable business, who knows what may surface in various parts of the world. I, for one, approve of this refreshing style-treatment. The next Infiniti G car will be a JDM Skyline and have a 3.5l V6. It will be called the G35. So at that point the G cars will cease to be fully related to the Primera.
