Welcome Ed, the more the merrier. Basic rules, be courteous, have fun and no personal attacks. Other than that, we're all here to help, entertain and discuss.

Hi, Ed, and welcome.
We were all newbies at one time. Generally the members here are much more forgiving about basic or repetitive questions than at other forums. As noted above, a good and friendly attitude is very helpful.

Re: This Is Just A Test

Thanks A Lot Guys , Feeling Very Welcome , Much Thanks To Es Class For Intoducing Me To This Amazing Forum. Some Things have Been Bothering Me, I Have Been Riding Sports Bikes On And Off For About 11 Years, I Still Feel That Sports Bikes Are Not Getting The Respect They Deserve, I Mean There Are Not as Many Shows Or know Hows As There Are For Cruisers And Choppers, I Mean No Offense To The Choppers and cruisers, Like Them Too. Just Wish That There Were More Resource Out There . If They Are Any Pls Let Me Know.

Re: This Is Just A Test

no, thank u Edwin for helping me sharpen my riding skills and for being impressed by my quick advancement. the extra confidence and respect for the wild beast has taken me to new levels. i just want to help build up this forum cuz i see not too many cats are a part of it. we need more people with questions and information. from what i have seen...the motorcycle community is truly a world of its own. as i have stated earlier, i only wish i would have been a part of it sooner. i cant wait till this snow and 20 degree weather breaks. see u on the blacktop soon.

Re: This Is Just A Test

Welcome Mossman, where's some pics of your scoot? Finally I have some help when these sportbike guys start picking on me and my Fatboy, Not really, we have had some good natured ribbing, but it's all in fun. I'm still trying to figure out how to get my bike to Austrailia, so Aussie can show me the real sights, not just the tourist traps.

the only bike roads in sydney have a cop ratio of about 5 bikes to one cop.
last time i took my old man out, we sat on the speed limit everywhere and we still got pulled over simply because the cop saw dad and i at the servo at the same time that an R6 and a ZZR600 were there. he was chasing them and assumed we were mates. we denied it but he didn't believe us and still tried to ticket us. i stood my ground and then he tried the defect line of attack but i shot him down there too. both brand new bikes. finally he went off to get someone else when his radio called in.

every tuesday night theres a ride called the Sydney Knights. basically its about 20-30 sportsbikes riding from out west to the city doing all the stuff squiddom is made up of. the cops can't catch'em and the guys who just go along for the ride (like me) behave so the cops can't book us. there's too many to definately say who was doing what.

the best roads are in Victoria and Tasmania. nice long coastal roads winding around the mountains.

without some good ribbing, where would the fun be? i got some pals giving me down the road for trading my cbr600rr in for a heritage. but when you know you look good, you don't need all the speed!!
