Uniroyal Liberator Tires
I Just Bought A Set Of Lt265/75/16's And They Are Rated At 80psi. The Place I Bought Them's Compressor Could Only Get Up To 60lbs. Would It Hurt To Run Them At 60lbs. I Only Have A Regular Pickup And Won't Be Hauling Much Junk. They Are Very Quiet And Smooth At That Poundage. Any Thoughts Would Be Appreciated. <><

Re: Uniroyal Liberator Tires
I have the same size tire on my 98 Chevy Z71, which is the stock tire size. The placard on my door says to run them at 35 psi. I have looked at the Liberators at Wal-Mart, the price is right. Please post back, with your experience of these tires, after you've owned them for a while.

Re: Uniroyal Liberator Tires
I worked at Wal Marts tire shop for bout a year, and the liberator is one that no one ever came back with problems. In my expierience, i'd say its a damn good tire.

Re: Uniroyal Liberator Tires
You need to check your placard to see what the original tire size was and what inflation pressure was proper for that size. Make a note of the "P" and "LT" if they are there. P metric and LT metric tires have different inflation / load characteristics.
On a Chevy, the placard is on the driver's door. |
