2004 classic

it has a knocking sound when it starts but then goes away.then when under strain it knocks as well

How may miles? From the eng or the pully area? Check the oil level!!!! No dash lights on? Have the oil pressure checked. Worst case is main or rod bearings...

thank you i am going to check oil presser and also trying to find out if the oil pump is working
