speaker sizes in my car

i have a 2004 Nissan titan, it has a 6speaker stereo system in it. the dash ones looked like tweeters, and nothing more. they looked smaller than the 3.5's i had in my last car. the doors, i think are 6.5's, but i'm not sure, they could be 5.25's. does anyone know? i like to crank my stereo, and these speakers don't sound too good when cranked.

Re: speaker sizes in my car

why don't you just whip out the old tape measure and measure them?

i'm more interested in the size of the speakers in my doors, than the speakers in the dash. in order for me to take a tape measurer to the ones in the doors i need to remove the door panels. i'd rather not do that untill i need to swap the speakers out. so if i know the size of those speakers, i can then purchase the speakers i need, remove my door panel, and swap them instead of removing the door panel to find the size, putting the panel back on, getting the speakers i want, removing the door panel again, and swaping the speakers

or go to liek crutchfiled .com and enter your truck when they ask what you have.. then they should say what size speakers will fit in it.

thats exactly what i did, but it didn't give me the exact speaker sizes. i remember they used to, now it just says things will fit. and it had 5.25's and 6.5's listed for it will fit. i remember a long time ago, they used to have the exact specs depending on the model...unless i missed that part, i'll check again. thanks,
