92 Previa No Spark *** Help please

My 92 previa has lost spark, I have battery voltage to + side of coil and 10.8v durring crank. I have put a test light to the - side of coil durring crank and it flashes lightly. The coil resistance values are right to spec .5ohms primary and 11k secondary. The coil wire has only 3k resistance in it. The distributor pick up coils are within resistance ranges and all of the wiring in the circuit has good continuity. And yes the distributor is spinning. I replaced the ignitor. Tested another ECM. Nothing... I am at a loss as where to go from here???? Can a coil with normal resistance and no visible signs of trouble be weak?
I tried holding the coil wire while the engine cranked and there is a weak spark, enough to hurt, but not enough to arc to ground.
ANY HELP PLEASE......

Re: 92 Previa No Spark *** Help please

[Hello all - new to forums but when I read this I thought I might hav a suggestion.

Just this weekend I was trying to clean my MAF Sensor ( on the top of the air filter box) and I damaged it - the result was that there was no spark. Replaced with one from a wrecker and all is OK. - Maybe your MAF Sensor is bad? Watch out though - I don't believe it will come up with a trouble code at Toyota. They spent 3 hours nearly and didn't check it like I asked because no code came up - when I insisted they found it to be the problem.
Hope this helps.

I couldn't verify that the MAF is the problem, when the EFI fuse blows there's No Power at it, because the power to it has to go thru the EFI Main Relay and thru the Circuit Opening Relay and then to the MAF

The EFI fuse blows even if the EFI Relay and Circuit Opening is removed when you turn the key On.

I appreciate your respond and if anything should come up in your mind,am willing to listen and learn. I'm at total lost finding this problem.

Thank You and Merry Christmas/Happy New Year 06

Yes, the coil can be disfunctional and still show good resistance. There is a big difference between resistance using a 9V test probe and handling 20 kV without breaking down.

HI

Located the problem: The Orange/Black wire is shorted to the Black/White taking out the EFI fuse and disabling the Main Relay at the same time. Thanks to all that Help.

lisamac, I know it has been a long time. But, if you still remember, could you please describe where in the vehicle the Orange/Black wire was shorted to the Black/White? And, I only see a Black/Orange, not an Orange/Black. Please advise. Thanks!
