*Hayabusa Special*

Hi everyone, im here to present you this favourite bike of mine. The Hayabusa, special edition. This bike took me almost 3 weeks to complete as its rather straight out of box. The most painful portion in completing it is the painting of the fairings because i didnt use decals but juz drawings on masking tape except the hayabusa logo using the chrome decals frm studio27. Also, i added head light and rear light to enhance its realism. Well, this will be only a short WIP section. So hopefully u guys will like it.. Comments will be greatly appreciated!

For the fairings, quite some touching up needs to be done...

THe hayabusa logo using studio 27 chrome decals

Re: *Hayabusa Special*

the chrome decals as i expected turned crumpled as i applied enamel clear over it! but its still acceptable IMO as its shine is still there. What matter most is that the decal is protected by the clear. thats the best comforting reason i tink.

this is a scratchbuild pig strotter mirror painted with Alclads chrome.

Ok, thats it for now. Theres still some parts yet to be mounted eg. the foot rest and etc. But once after it completed i will post it to the completed forums.

Superb build!
Great job on the masking/painting.
Overall outstanding work

Is the frame the kit chrome, BTW?

Re: *Hayabusa Special*

Hahaha. Oh yA! Stupid me! well, how am i goin to move it to the WIP section, can somebody enlighten me on this? haha.

Anyway, the frame is used SOB as i found the degree of chrome of Aclads is almost similar to the frame painted by tamiya.

That's also my general opinion/impression. I'm just collecting other opinions

Re: *Hayabusa Special*

Oh haha, its because i wanted it to be frosted but smooth on the outside to substantiate its title to be special. So i sprayed smoke in mist from inside. haha.. Well anyway thanks very much for all the comments i have received so far. Really appreciate them!!
