ahh...here we go.

it will be easier to list the differences.

oil squirters: the TT engine has oil squirters pointed at the pistons to provide better cooling/lubrication to the pistons.

Pistons: pistons are obviouly different to drop the compression to 8.5:1

Head parts: the heads themselves are the same but the internal parts are much different. the TT valves are made out of a different metal and i am pretty sure the cams have different specs (dont quote me on this).

on a side note: it may be okay to leave the N/A heads. that you will have to research.

fuel injectors: obviously the TT has 370cc injectors while the N/A is 259cc.

i am also pretty sure there are different passages and such on the TT block that are opened up for different flow and cooling purposes. you will have to make sure of this.

dont forget oil cooler feed and return lines and getting the coolant and oil lines to the turbos. this if your thinking about what i thin your thinking about.

IIRC the exhaust cams are different but the intake cams stay the same. The exhaust cams close sooner, leaving less overlap probably due to the higher backpressure. Otherwise, too much exhaust would stay in the cylinder for the next cycle.

Yeah it will work from a technical point of view (it will fit and it wont harm the rest of the engine), but the TT heads will probably give a bit more power (as a result of this cam difference).

As a side note, does anyone know what the oil 'holes' are for on the conrods (both TT and NA i presume). They're just above the big end bearing (EM-48 in the service manual). Would this be to lubricate the big end bearing journal?
