Lightbulb muffler problem

Okay i have a 97 caviler and it came with a exhaust but it has a silencer ut im having a hard time taking it off becuz the nail were its tightend up is rusty and old so u can't turn it. So im really having a hard time anyone have any ideas on how to take it off.

I'm not sure of the exact fastener you're referring too, but my advice would be to buy some break-away, spray it on it, let it sit overnight (in above-freezing temperatures) - then spray WD-40 on it the next day, let it sit a few hours, and then try it. That stuff should break it free.
