a question on "M99 PES" car

Hello,

after viewving "Martin Brundle's Supercars" a question come :
They don't show the side of the McLaren and there is maybe a reason.

Why this F1 (which chassis please ?) with complete HDF kit has standard 17" wheels ?

Thank you
Phil

My only guess (and it's a complete guess) is that maybe the owner has both sets of wheels and keeps a more race-oriented tire on the GTR-style wheels.

As for the chassis number - it's still unknown at this point. The car apparently belongs to Jackie Stewart's son, Paul Stewart.

Re: a question on "M99 PES" car

Hello,

thank you Erik. It's a good guess
And it is possible that it belongs to Paul Stewart. because the close relation between Brundle and Formula One.

Ciao

The info on the owner comes from a very reputable source.

Just to confirm that this is indeed Paul Stewart's car. In an interview with Jackie Stewart on fifth gear tonight, Tiff asked if there was a McLaren in Jackie's garage. Jackie replied that sadly there wasn't, but there was one in Paul's garage. He went on to say he thinks it the finest supercar ever made. While he was talking there was lots of footage of the car balsting about the countryside.

I wonder where he keeps it..........

The footage was straight from the Martin Brundle DVD.

Our 5th Gear last night didn't feature the Jackie Stewart interview unfortunately. It did feature a brief glimpse at an F1 though, but it was once again #020.

I don't watch many DVDs so the MB Supercars video practically lives in the tray on my DVD player and I run through the F1 segment fairly often. It's also cool to watch the McLaren factory tour special segment to see the line up of F1, F1 LM and F1 GT, though I do wish they would have spent a bit more time on them showcasing the different details of each one.

The same people who made the Brundle DVD also make Fifth Gear.
