Ah ha!! Now I know where those '69 GTO turn signals went!!
It looks pretty good. How does it drive and run?

Re: For Sale: 71 Chevy Vega, jeep chassie

turn signals... it runs great, but since the engine is a v8 and the car was made with a straight 4, the radiator is alil small and it over heats. (does great on the street, if you treat her nice) the main problems are the axles, front doen't have working ring and pinion, the rims are bent/tires are close to bald; and finaly the cooling problem. But its mainly just to turn heads. I don't have enough money to finish it.

Re: For Sale: 71 Chevy Vega, jeep chassie

That IS a unique ride! Reminds me of my first car - a '73 Chevy Vega, "rusting" red and that horrible aluminum 4-cylinder engine and 3 speed manual tranny. My first mods were a Kraco AM/FM 8-track, a cheapo 5-band EQ, and 2-5" speakers wedged in the back between the seat back and the body. Couldn't hear much, though, cuz the whole car vibrated so bad! Oh, I also stuck a Hurst shift knob on so at least it wouldn't look as slow as it was! Thanks for bringing back the memories - if I had the dough I would've seriously looked into buying your Jeep/Vega...

Unique design dude.. but I am not sure about the quality of your car... but have you already try to post it elsewhere?
