1965 Pontiac GTO - Need Advice

I am restoring a 1965 Pontiac GTO and I need advice. This will be my first restoration project and I was wondering what would be a good place to look for parts. I was told that it probably would be best to buy a whole car for the parts that I need and others have told me to buy it piece by piece.

I was told about a site called Copart and was wondering if anyone else has tried it or even heard of it. I figured this would be a good place to find out more about it. Here's the link for anyone who wants to check it out. Unauthorised link removed by moderator

Thanks

Re: 1965 Pontiac GTO - Need Advice

Either a whole car or individual parts is fine. Whichever one is less strenuous on your bank account. Original used parts or OEM parts will cause the biggest hit to your wallet.
I personally use Ames Performance to buy parts for my '69 GTO.
I have found that they are the cheapest and have the best quality parts.

Good luck!
