What's a good car?
Ok, so I've been a fan of DSMs, but I want to move into another kind of car. I'm looking for a project car, but not one newer than 1995 or older than 1987. I'm not a big fan of n/a cars so I'm looking for something with a turbo or twin turbo. Any ideas on what would be a good car to get into?

If not the DSM, I'd say go for a Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo or maybe an old-school Chrysler/Dodge 2.2 Turbo car.

Re:
I was looking at those because I own a 300zx (it's the car I would sell to get my project car) I thought I could just put an aftermarket turbo in it, but I'm looking for a 4 seater.

Re: What's a good car?
The MR2 and 300ZX aren't gonna fit four people...no way in hell. If you just want a pair of rear seats for insurance purposes or whatever, the 300ZX comes in a 2+2 trim level, but it won't be twin turbo.
If you actually want to be able to carry four people, your best bet is a Chrysler turbo. The Dodge Spirit, the Dodge Daytona, and the Chrysler LeBaron GTC are all good choices. |

Re: What's a good car?
The Dodge Daytona looks too much like a chevy camaro which I would probobly get instead since the specs are better and it has a V8, and I'm looking for a car that looks somewhat sporty. I dont really like boxy cars, that's why the 300zx impressed me, if it weren't for thier lack of back seats.

Re: What's a good car?
The Eclipse GST has a turbo, 2.0L 4cyl @ 210 hp. Not bad. Pretty quick too.

Re: What's a good car?
is300? 2jz swaps are relatively simple and cheap - then you have a serious machine, especially since the supra can easily take 500hp on stock engine internals and the 6 speed trans from the MKIV supra

Re: What's a good car?
The IS 300 does come with a 2JZ-GE...it's just not twin-turbo.

Re: What's a good car?
I understood you, but the way you said it made it sound like the IS 300 didn't already have a 2JZ in it.
