My hot SLR5000 Torana
This is some pics of my much loved SLR what do u think?
Its got HQ brakes, suspension and some steering componets, custom rear axels(HQ), custom widened 10inch HQ GTS rear rims, dumped on its ass with pedders red gsr sports rider shocks and springs, origanal SLR interior(re done), i still have the SLR steering wheel but is not on the car. The heads are ported and polished and they have L34 valves, duel valve springs and Y.T. roller rockers. botem end has flat tops, 550 lift cam, high vol sump and high vol oil pump. dizzy is stock except for re curving for the cam. I only have a M21 4 spd gear box which i will be upgrading to a supra 5 spd and diff is a 10 bolt sulsbry single wheeler 4.11s which i will also upgrade to a 9 inch LSD with same gearing, It only does 160kph at 6,500RPMs which is reving it but it gets there in 2 secs, it definatlly needs a 5 spd. its pritty quick, havent had it dynoed yet though. If thats what you reckon good luck to ya, by tha way what KWs are you at the wheels? and dont say what the factory says cos thats Flywheel KWs. My car is insured for $25,000 (1974) wonder what your car will be worth when its 30+ years old? when your car is as old as mine bet ya it will be in the scrap heap or a beaten up peice of crap (will follow the rules of no swearing) BTW. Im wearing a ford hat right now and love my older fords but dont really respect the newer fords. I saw this guy with a blown xr8 (was that you by the way????) and it got ripped by a blown VX V6 and i bet the both of them in my SLR, so if all you are here for 'mr ford lover' who can not respect a cars workmanship cos of what badge its wearing is to stir up holden people or people who respect all cars then GET A LIFE!!!!!!!!!!! |
