C.B. Radio in my car??
Can i do this? Do i need the big antenna? Or do they have a smaller one i can use?

yes. no. yes, but you sacrifice SWR (range, sorta).

I have been looking online and cant find any C.Bs that would go in my car.

i've got a citizen's band radio in my car, although mostly it's to get 'smokey' reports from truckers, and to find friendly rigs to follow on long trips. i use GMRS or business band for caravanning, unless the other party has an amature licence

what geeko said.
yes got to have the cb for smoky report. kept me from getting hit by a big rig one day. could not of called him on the cell phone. if you do any high way travil its nice to have a cb and a cell phone. |
