Question Struts/Shocks Q45

Looking for a little help. Three months ago I bought a 1994 Q45t, when I purchased the vehicle I knew it needed new struts. My motor manual says the parctial shelf has to be pulled to gain access to the top bolts.
How is the shelf fastened in? Any special advice on the installation of the struts? Thanks for the help in advance. Jerry

You must remove the rear seat cushion and seat back. The rear parcel shelf is held down by plastic clips{attached to the under side of shelf}.Simply "pop" the shelf upwards by reaching underneath the shelf and pushing up{try to locate the clips and push up at these points so as to not dammage shelf}.You may also have to remove the two panels on the pillar.
Good luck
