New model being built. Merc AMG S600 coupe
Undecided on paint, I'm going to go through my neighbours 50 or so Mercedes-Benz Enthusiast magazines and through all his Benz info to try get a colour chart. Was a gift from a friend. I've only done the engine and the chassis so far, I will re-do the engine though.

Yeah well if someone made a 1991 Benz 500SEL I could get every single detail done, right down to the colours on the guages or even on the fan belts, anything at all I could detail to the extreme. I could also do that if someone made a 1969 Benz 300SEL 6.3. I tell ya, my neighbours one has the 6.3 V8 with racing cams and sport valves & AMG pistons, 3 inch exhaust system and a Remus muffler with twin 2" tips, that thing sounded like a TRUCK! I like it

Gona be pretty cool! I have that kit but I doubt if I ever build it! I don't have a clue as to how I want to build it! I hope yours turns out well though!:bandit:

The engine looks great and the chassis looks good too. Should be nice when it's done. Keep us updated.

When / where did you find this kit? I've never seen it before! Would make one sweet customizing kit, esp. considering it comes with an engine!

Hi all, I've done the interior a different combo, but it still suits the end colour of the car very well. I can test different combos by using a car we already have painted in deep metallic blue (my dads Cobra). The interior is now metallic black/black/tan/dark wood combo, works very well when all pieces are put in on interior. Sorry about not having progress pics but the car s at my other house & I don't want to risk damaging it on the way up. I may keep building this even though I said I am on a break, I just love Benzs so I can't stop and leave it half done.
Wheels will be 18" BBSs Laurent, all chrome . I re-did the engine and I've painted the brakes the norm sports car colours (red calipers). Very visable brakes through the BBs wheels. Picture update will follow in a week or so. *EDIT* I forgot, I didn't find this kit. My friend bought it in Singapore and then he was planning to build it. But he gave up so he gave it to me. |

To tonioseven and Swoxy
The car ia called s600 coupe before 1994 and BENZ company changed the name of the car that is called CL600 in 1994 . So you guys are both correct. |
