Custom Modlers Potential Business

Hi I'm posting this to find out if someone with a a credible amount of talent would be interested in creating a 69 Chevy 1500 truck, and a 69 Pro-Touring Camaro.

If you're interested you can send me some pictures of some of your work and an estimate, that would be fantastic

Thanks

Look up Tigeraid, he does custom builds for his "customers" all the time.

That's true. But he might be busy - he seems to have a lot of customers.

i know i'm a newbie here and this will upset a lot of people, but i dont think that his customer builds are all that good, his building skills are alright but his painting lets the finished model fall short of its potential

Tell ya what, I never say what doesn't need to be said, but that was not necessary to say. If you have a personal opinion such as this than you need to PM the thread creator and let him know your opinions. Tigeraid obviously has a great customer base as he is creating many models at a time. If his work were not up to the customers par then he would not have them. Posts like you have written above are nothing but harming.

While you are certainly entitled to your opinion, publicly bashing someone's overall skills is NOT cool. I myself am a noob, but consider this to be common sense.

It's pretty spineless to sign up with a new user name to bash somebody, at least have the courage to do so under your usual user name.

See, I was wondering about that as well. To make a statement such as that you obviously have to be aware of who is here and what they produce. As a Mod can you detect when and by who an account is made? I am betting an email address is about the only validation.

Yep, I did a IP cross search and it came up with a static IP match for one member who is a regular in Car Modelling.

I love you man, I was thinking you could do an IP search but didn't know you could. I bet the member wishes they had a dynamic IP now, lol!!!

dynamic doesn't matter too much as the main identifying numbers are still going to be the same.
even if we get a range of numbers (as you do here) it's rare that two complete strangers bring up the same range.

Ray: you are AF day's hero, really I'm impressed (in the good way)

Aztek: I posted my reply today than I didn't confirm the "post" tab, better so: Enzo was much more educate and appropriate.

Re: Custom Modlers Potential Business

John (Tigeraid) does fine work. look at his last camaro, and the mustang clone build. his skill is right up there with some of the better known builders. From what I've seen his customer base seems to be quite satisfied with the work that is done. I'm sure you (Aztek, who ever you are) are so used to seeing work from those top modelers like Scale Master, JTRacing, Klutz, and Risko to name a few, or you are one of them, that you have established such a high level of expectation that you are blind to a really good, limited resource build, and it's details. That was a cowardice statement, as evident by the fake screen name.

I'm sorry, that was just aggravating to read.

drumcat, I wish I could help you out, I really do, but I'm so swamped right now, getting ready to show some models in march (big builds that will likely not be done.)

But, give John a call/pm and see what he has to offer. maybe even look up some of his builds, he does fine work.
