2005 STS Ash Tray

I have more loose change behind the ash tray than actually in it. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to remove the ashtray or if the center console needs to be removed as well. If anyone has any information please advise.

Re: 2005 STS Ash Tray

In order to pull just ashtray, the whole front fascia has to pop off, quite the procedure if u haven't done it before or have no experience, your dealer won't have a hard time with it.

Re: 2005 STS Ash Tray

the surround is held in place by 4 friction clips. to remove use a butter knife ,covered as to not scar your wood and pry it gently and it will pop out.from there you will see how the ashtray comes out,
