need some simple how tos on my '89 civic stnd hatch

Okay so my car is an '88 or '89 civic hatchback standard with a dx d15 swapped in and a dx 5 speed transmission. First thing i want to do is remove some cheesy graphics and replace the worn out hood flat black factory style hood. I'm having a hard time finding a flat black hood online all im finding is carbon fiber anyone know where get get one? What's the proper way to remove decals?
