no the burnt copper one you will have seen before they had built one a few years back and the rear end gave out on the first past, and totaled the car |

Ya, the copper one was what I had in mind. Great body for that kind of car.

Re: Who here builds and plays with Real cars ?
My current car.
I Live in Japan, so tuning an FD Rx7 creates a problem. Too much choice. You make one and then decide if it works or not. I am taking inspiration cues from Mini, Lotus and a bit of MX5 to create a more classic look for my car. My target is a mountain monster. Not an in your face show car. Russ.. |

Re: Who here builds and plays with Real cars ?
Here's my lot.
This one is currently a WIP; I should be driving it this fall for college. '82 Rabbit MK1 Cabrio, Wolfsburg edition. Needs lots of love. This summer it will be receiving the powerplant from THIS: ('84 Scirocco in VERY BAD SHAPE) The Rabbit is a 5 speed stick, and we have very nice factory VW rims to replace that black garbage. It has been lowered and the rear brakes have been converted to discs. Should be good on mileage and "go-go"! This is my current ride. Gotta love the paint--thanks, Ford! The wheels are updated. But no one anywhere REALLY likes this vehicle. At all. But it does have a lot of torque... Some of the cars in this thread are VERY impressive!! Alex |

Re: Who here builds and plays with Real cars ?
I have started to play with real Carbon Fiber since it looks soo good on model cars
I have covered all my interior trim in my Bmw 330i: My other project is the Honda CRX VT (Sir) B16A1 which I'm going to restore to mint oem condition. Maybe a slight drop and some better looking wheeels but that's it.. Trying to save one of the last un-pimped VT:s left here in sweden. Almost all the few previous owners were 60-years old men, imagine that..

Re: Who here builds and plays with Real cars ?
indeed it is a fiat coupe, and thank you for the compliment,it is the 20v turbo model, with 220 bhp through the front wheels as standard, mine has a wee bit more as it has been slightly played with,no traction control makes for "interesting " handling!
the red one is a fiat tipo sedicivalvole ,and should be getting the 16v turbo engine from this fiat coupe, again modded, this time to around 210 bhp,in an 11oo kg car should be fun donor green coupe here |

Re: Who here builds and plays with Real cars ?
Yes I bumped an old thread, but with good intention. I was hoping maybe some of the newbies on here would like to share their rides. We've gotten a lot of new faces, so maybe they have some sweet rides?
