Re: Automotive Forums Model of the Year 2007
I must have been staring at these entries for half an hour now trying to decide which 3 to vote for, I simply just cant narrow it down to just three. I think this is highest standard of entries I have ever seen in the comp, bravo everyone!

Too bad I couldn't make it this year PS.: Phil, I'm afraid we need to adjust the rules just a little bit... I need way more points to give away... to vote only for 3 is just not possible And where is your Porsche, one of the most beautiful builds over the last year??? |

Re: Automotive Forums Model of the Year 2007
its a shame RallyRaider didn't enter his Porsche, seems that even though he is running it, that model should be in the voting.
I'm in the same boat you guys are, there are too many excellent models on here to only vote for 3 is near impossible

What an outstanding collection of models
2007 was obviously a good year! Darn hard to chose a shortlist of just three not to mention choosing between the final three for points allocation

Re: Automotive Forums Model of the Year 2007
Guys I'm amazed: really a superb collection. To me there are 25-30 entries eligible for the final victory, a lot. Shame for Phil's 917...
And guys I have to say that also photo skills are dramaticaly improoved over last few years, impressive. Thanks a lot everyone, I need some time to see better I guess.

Such a great collection of builds! You've all done a great job guys! And may I also complement everybody on their photo skills? The quality of most of the images are VERY impressive.

Re: Automotive Forums Model of the Year 2007
I have to agree with gionc, one thing I notice compared to previous years is the incredibly photography a lot of us have come up with--even I improved a TON over the last couple years.
Great entries, I've picked mine but damn they were tough calls. |

Re: Automotive Forums Model of the Year 2007
Added in one more entry where we had last minute image hosting issues and fixed up some links that looked suspect, still haven't verified them all so please let me know if something is amiss. In case people hadn't realized, clicking on an entry picture will take you to the completed/gallery thread for those models that have them.
A most impressive collection of models to be sure. Forget winning, this year just getting a vote is going to be a hell of an achievement. I feel a bit left out not to be in the mix but also relieved at not competing against that lot! |

Phil.
Well done on taking over the contest this year from me.....fantastic job you have done. How the hell i'm going to pick 3 out of that!! This year is shaping up to be the closest run contest yet. It a credit to AF and the builders here that there are over 50 models for the first time and all are such a very high standard. I think you all need to give ya self a pat on the back and say "well done" Makes me want to break out the modeling stuff again!! Wazza

What a fantastic display of talented builders! You all deserve a bunch of these and bunch of these ! I've looked at the builds four times now and still can't figure out which ones to vote for!
