Bulbs

Alright well, you've all heard of the performance on my car but heres what the add-ons on my exterior are. mid and high spoiler, chrome shorty antenna, eyelids, clear corners. By the end of the month I am going to order red/chrome tails and chrome projectors for up front. I wanna replace my bulbs. I really like the look of Xenons but I am only looking to spend 100 for lows highs and blue park/city lights. What are the downfalls of Halogens as compared to HID's. I've heard that Halogens draw more power, but is that really a damaging thing? Is it realy worth the extra 200 for HIDS instead of Halogens???
