Completed* Mercedes-Benz CLK-DTM D2
I have finished another one now and I will participate in a contest with this one and the C-Class DTM D2 I have
so here it is: The Mercedes-Benz CLK-DTM D2 basically OOB except for som wiring and interior stuff like the steering wheel that is placed on the dashboard and some smaller stuff like that I also gave it some battle-damage.. I heated up the rear bumper a bit and my goal was to make it look like it had been hit coming into like the first corner. I think it looks OK Here´s the pics: and here you can see the damage: The engine (alot of CF as you can see) : ..and with the C-class DTM: That´s it for now // Rickard |

Re: Completed* Mercedes-Benz CLK-DTM D2
I like the battle-damage concept; however, it seems that the diffuser is carbon fiber and would therefore break clean off rather than bend. Just a hint for more realism. Interesting carbon-look. How did you do that?

I can't imagine that creating damage like that is easy, but your result is excellent. Did you do the damage before or after applying paint and decals?
