I thought I'd share a photo of my work area, which is actually the spare bedroom!. It's an L-shaped computer desk that I picked up BRAND NEW for less than $50 at a store liquidation sale! On top is a 3/8" thick piece of glass that keeps me from marring the desk's surface. I have 3 lamps - a halogen, a flourescent magnifier and and accordian wall-mounted lamp to provide PLENTY of illumination to work by! Extra storage space underneath is provided in the form of those roll away plastic carts available at Target or Wal-Mart. Fairly inexpensive and very handy! Plus a portable CD/Cassette/AM/FM Stereo as well as a 13" color TV and small fan make for a much more comfortable atmosphere during those long building sessions! Mounted on the walls are various awards from many different modeling events. Out of the photo sits file cabinets that houses all my reference material: "Scale Auto", "Car Modeler", "Plastic Fanatic" and "Model Cars" magazines as well as many other 1:1 car mags such as "Popular Hot Rodding" and "Drag Racer".

My same desk in my bedroom. Nothing to fancy, but I sure put a lot of hours on this desk! It's fairly clean, just have some parts for my 510 ready to be assembled or modified.

For storing my tools, I use a plastic tool container, cookie dough containers, school supplie boxes, and collecter card boxes.

While taking pics of my desk, decided to get a few of my model boxes. These models have been accumilating since 1997, but much of my built models have been either fallen apart (parts like rim/tires, grilles, etc.), parted out, or I attempted a recondition of the model. I have several models that lay under my bed (mostly current projects) and the larger Tamiya boxes stored in a different area. Also, a few of my past-build boxes are stored in my brothers closet.
