Question radio wiring colors

can some one help me out i need to know what the radio wire colors mean i am haveing a hard time getting my radio to work can some one help with what the colors mean 1999 plymouth breeze

okay okay okay easy

look on the sticker on your stock radio and look at the ones for the new radio. it tells you what color is what on each radio. You match them up and BAM you got it working.


now... help me out ! LOL !

I snipped all the wires at once and blew the illumination fuse. Replaced it. turned it on onc. turned it off. Then i turned it on again and blew another fuse. any ideas of whats making the fuses blow?

Did you get an answer to the blown fuse question. I have the same issue. I think its the radio is not properly grounded??

yea, i had to wire a ground cable directly to the chassis of a Nissan, but same thing...
