97 Breeze oil seals.

Hi,
I'm "new" to the Breeze board but not to AF.
My son just bought a 97 Breeze (2.0L) for a song ($650) due to it having an oil leak at a front seal. I figured "why not", a seal should be easy to change. I looked under the car with it running to see if I could tell where it was leaking from. It was coming from up high, I figured it was the cam seal and it was leaking BADLY. After figuring out the chineese jigsaw puzzle to get it all apart, I could see the seal behind the cam gear was indeed blown out against the gear. So I replaced the cam seal and wanted to do the crank seal too but NO ONE had a puller for that gear. Then come to find outthat NO ONE had the tool to put the harmonic balancer/pulley back on. I made one myself by welding 2 M12 1.75 X 90mm bolts together. The car now runs and doesn't leak oil (yipee).
Where oh where do you get the "special" pullers and installers to work on this engine without having to spend more on tools than the car?
