Skylines for sale
i found a website for skylines for sale and they are pretty damn cheap, thing is thought is that there in japan. They have a number and im sure i could get one but how much would is cost to get the car over and here street legal? i inquired about this before and got an answer that there are no longer and companies that do the street legal mods for skylines but they said that there is a secondary company that was looking into doing it. So my question is if i could buy the car, how much more would i need to shell out to get it here and for it to be street legal? thanks

Re: Skylines for sale
You can't import Skylines to the states so sorry about that... If you live anywere other than the states than go ahead...
Motorex was the only place to get Skylines and they no longer can import and legalize them so sorry... |

Yep and I hate Motorex. I tried everything under the sun to get my GTS-T over here when I moved back to the states. It's just so stupid, we're trying to save the air by not importing a few sports cars that pass emissions anyway? We're worried about non-safety glass that can be swapped out for a few hundred bucks? It makes me mad just thinking about it.

Re: Skylines for sale
1) as long as there is a registered importer(such as th civic/honda) you can import a car to the states.
2) you can in all technicality still import an r33 skyline, read the dot/epa import leagles list. when motorex crash tested the skylines, they only ested the r33, therefor, all r33 document are correct and there isnt much the government can do to stop u from importing, other than disallowing the car. but then u go to court spend 10yrs fighting the whole thing, meanwhile u could've gotten a new gtr |

Re: Skylines for sale
I rather get the new GTR in the states than importing the old skylines.
