pricing of an XKE
A friend of mine has a '69 xke and I was wondering what kind of money it would be worth, I've had my eye on it for the past couple of years.
The car is in ok condition, it has rust, rotten weather stripping, crudy interior, engine probably won't start, it's been sitting on its wheels for over a decade so it will need a new suspension and more. It doesn't have body or frame damage, all origional parts. I was wondering how much he should be asking for, how much money I should expect so spend on this car, and what could I modify to make the car more reliable, get better gas mileage, and maybe squeaze a little extra power out of it without reducing the value of it. I was thinking of a better exhaust, air filter, oil filter, fuel filter, suspension, carbs(maybe), I might need to get a new (or refurbished) engine if this one's dead. Any Input? |

Thank you, I'll do that. Too bad the jaguar forum is so unpopular lol.
