Who will buy Hummer?

GM says the Hummer is going up for sale.

I think Jeep would be the best fit. They've been copying Hummer styling the last few years, they have the best American name in off-roading and an established, loyal customer base.

But can Cerberus Chrysler afford it?

Maisto aquires Hummer?

That was just an April fools joke according to the web link.

I hope someone does soon though. My 06 H3 has been a terrific vehicle.

Re: Who will buy Hummer?

I actually wrote a blog about the Hummer being bought by the Chinese and did a little work on what I think there new tag line should be replacing the Hummer... Like Nothing Else. Check it out at my auto school blog. My H3 Alpha lease is up in 6 months and I am wondering if I should keep it or give it back due to the recent sale of Hummer. I love my Hummer but what is to happen in the future?

Not me. If they are anything like the military Humvee, count me out. Those pieces of shit breaks more than old people's bones.
