Good bye SAAB!

GM announced today that they will close SAAB. Making the end of 62 years of car-manufacturing in Trollhättan.

It ain't over 'til it's over and it still ain't over. Spyker may still yet pull it out. GM had objections to Spyker's proposals and Spyker came back with a proposal that addressed all of those.

GM said last Sunday that there were several other interested parties, too.

GM would rather sell Saab than just shut it down, salvaging more cash that way.
