2003 Chevy Cav: Crazy Transmission Problem (I think)

So, I'm hoping a hive mind can help me sort this out. Been dealing with it for a couple months. Sometimes when I shift into drive I can feel the car jerk REALLY hard. It's an automatic but I can feel the jerking when it shifts between 1st and 2nd and 2nd and 3rd (not as noticeable between 2nd and 3rd) Here's the crazy part. I only notice the jerking when the outdoor temp is above like 40 degrees. Any colder and it doesn't do it (I live in the mid-west and it's been pretty cold lately.) Any thoughts? Ideas? Is my car possessed by a demon that really hates the cold? It's at almost 165k. I JUST replaced the fuel pump about a month ago (That was a chore). And all the plugs have been replaced (not the wire harness thing). I have also added transmission fluid but that didn't seem to fix the issue. Maybe it needs more?

You are adding tx fluid? Have a leak?

This is 4T40/45E with no dipstick? You know the proper procedure for checking fluid level?

Have you scanned for tx codes?

Any maintenance record of the TX?
