Re: NA Z32 Throttle-bodies Bigger than TT's?

yesr, we can use the stanza or 240sx tb on the z31, the stock zed's tb is 54mm opening whereas the stanza or 240's are 60mm. it's a direct bolt up, but you'll probably want to do a bit of grinding/polishing on where the tb meets the unpper intake plenum... being a bit bigger, there will be a nice sharp edge around the opening that will impede airflow, giving it a nice angle to meet up with the tb will get rid of that problem. i plan on doing it as soon as i can find an electric fan and install that.

I did the stanza TB conversion on my zed and it works great. a noticable difference on the fun factor(performance)of the car.

Re: NA Z32 Throttle-bodies Bigger than TT's?

are the tb's for the z31's the same as the tb's from the z32? cause if so a double 240 tb would be pretty sweet.

Re: NA Z32 Throttle-bodies Bigger than TT's?

so have any of guys done a TB conversion on a Z32 ?? cuz i was thinkin and wouldnt one of the two TBs have to be mounted upsidedown sein as when the tb is on an inline 4 its hooked up to the shaft on one side ??? and also do you need stanza or 240 hard pipes to fit around the bugger TB housing, or does the plastic hose from teh stock ones fit around the new TB ???? any help would be awesome
