Delco Remy Receives Volvo/Mack Aftermarket Supplier of the Year Award

ANDERSON, Ind., July 10 -- Delco Remy was presented with the
Volvo/Mack Aftermarket Supplier of the Year Award. The award is given
annually to recognize Volvo/Mack's best suppliers. The criteria on which
suppliers are rated include: Market Support Participation, Dealer Training,
National Account Manager Representation and the Marketing Plan. Volvo/Mack
recognized only 4 aftermarket suppliers this year with this prestigious award.

Delco Remy supplies heavy-duty electronics including starters, alternators
and voltage management systems to Volvo/Mack. The Aftermarket Supplier of the
Year Award was presented to Delco Remy at the Uptime 2003 National Parts
Meeting in Orlando, Florida.
