Are EV reducing CO2 emissions as promised?
Electric vehicle is not a novel concept. It has been around since the end of 19th century. The inability of automobile giants to make it profitable and the influence of the Oil industries on the policy makers delayed the growth of EVs. But with the start of 21nd century and awareness regarding the after-effects of the entire automotive age many countries have shown genuine interest in the growing EV segment. The EV manufacturers have used the “save the environment” card to win back the market but an indepth research shows that EV might not be the solution as they had promised.

Re: Are EV reducing CO2 emissions as promised?
Not only does acquiring the raw materials for the batteries require mining massive amounts, but when a start-to-finish accounting of energy/pollution ratio for the generation of the electricity to power those EVs is examined, the pollution per mile isn't much, if any, better than burning gasoline.
