Bad noise IN Front of Jeep Grand Cherokee
I have a very bad noise in my 2004 jeep grand Cherokee Sound like the every thing is coming apart. I do not know if the 3rd member or the transfer case. I replace both axels and hub bearing. I do not know what to do can u take the front drive line out and drive it and see where the noise come from.is there clutch plates in the front 3rd.member.please help.

Not sure what you are describing when you say "3rd member". Please clarify. Do you have Part Time or Full Time 4wd? Can you describe the sound more accurately? Is it coming from the front, the back or the middle? Is it a grinding, a clunking, or some other noise? Is there a vibration of any kind?
