Porsche 356 Super90 Cafè Racer
Porsche for free
Who can resist an offer like that? Exactly, nobody. Not even me. I'm not a fan of the 356, never have been and likely never will be. But anyways. A friend of mine gave away a Fabbri Porsche 356 Super90 - for free. Well, I did have a set of Fuchs wheels from an old Revell Premium kit in the parts box and a set of starting numbers. I decided to transform the little bugger into something resembling the café racer style of the 1970's. Well, sort of. Actually it was just a fun project and done in under an hour. I made the wheels and tires narrower, so they could fit under the body. The car itself has been lowered and the fenders have been taken off. The PE license plate frame is from ScaleProduction. Definitely not for the purists - but what counts for me is the answer to the following question: Would I have fun driving this thing? Hell yes! Many thanks to the kind man who made the donation: Jonas Cheers, Sebastian |

Nice, yes definately. I am a fan of old Porkers so I think it would be good fun. I would have the top down though and a warm jacket as well, it is getting quite cool in the UK now winter is here !!
