3m dynamic mixing system.

Hi guys.

I was watching the video from this and its a gun that works like a air powered chaulking gun for bodyfiller. They claim that it reduces pin holes and less mess and no mixing because the gun mixes it. You have use there bodyfiller because thats what fits in the gun. On the end of the gun there is a plastic blade that controls the mixing. The plastic blades are replaceable in the kit.

Re: 3m dynamic mixing system.

Hi Mark, these are pretty new. They just came out this year. We purchased one for our school. It is one of the love/hate things. Some students love it; others hate it. I personally love how it works. I'm not sure how cost effective it is. The good thing is that you get a perfect mix every time and you don't have to throw left over away. Check with your 3M rep. He will probably come demonstrate it for you and let you try it. If I was doing body repair as a technician, I would want one.

Hi

It seems like a very usefull piece of epuipment. The only only problem that i can see is that it seems kinda bulky. What i means is. You have to hold it in one hand while the spreader is in the other.

I really like it, but that is what some of the students have expressed. They feel it is a little bulky. Personal choice I guess!

3M way to make money, dynalite in a 16oz tube sell it for $12 and build a machine the mixes it for you, sell it for $400... if you run big shop. yes maybe will help a lot with waste and it has a build in gauge on it that tells you how much filler is used on a car.great for insurence jobs to get more time. but for little shops and little DIY'S don't see the point of getting it. gun only cost $400...THINK OF HOW MANY GALLONS OF BONDO THAT IS!
