Hey guys (56k NO!)

Whats up old buddies? I was just sitting around last night and I remembered the old days when I first got my Z and I used to be on AF all the time. So I decided to drop by here and show you guys pictures of my Z since quite a bit has changed cosmetically. I have done the following to my Z in the past year:

- JDM Clear Corners
- '99 JDM Taillights
- JDM Nippleless Paint-matched Headlights
- '90 Bagless Steering Wheel (I hate the airbag wheel)
- SPL Subframe Bushings

So here are a couple before pics to remind what my Z used to look like:

And now this is what she looks like:

First, lets show off the headlights for a little bit, as you can see, the front-end of my Z is definitely showings its age (155k miles):

And now for a few pics of my Z just checking out the airfield:

And now my favorite part of the whoring:

Re: Hey guys (56k NO!)

She is doing good, the only problem I am having with her right now is the fact that she idles between 1000-1200rpms.

Re: Hey guys (56k NO!)

looks good. if you don't mind me sharing, i think you should take your cat-back down and either polish the mufflers or paint them black. the bare metal look i think takes attention away from the rear view of your car. JDM tails is an amazing enhancer for that color of Z.

Re: Hey guys (56k NO!)

Yes, I need to do something with the mufflers, but they aren't stainless steel, so they have holes in them, so i am always on the lookout for some used, inexpensive mufflers to replace mine with.

how bad are the holes? mufflers can be patched. aftermarket mufflers are very fairly priced and you can have them welded in by a decent exhaust shop. they can measure the dimensions of your existing mufflers and find something extremely close if not exact.

Re: Hey guys (56k NO!)

You say it idles at around 1K?

Check for a air leak from the intake at the PCV hoses and vacuum hoses. If its not them check your fuel pressure it could be the regulator failing or even the Idle control valve.

do not forget that it could be the AC relay and that the car should idle a tad higher with the AC on. if the relay isn't operating correctly it will not shut the RPMs back down to ~750ish.

Re: Hey guys (56k NO!)

I will have to check those things. I will also probably check the ECU for codes since I haven't done that in a while.
