92 ultra power steeering hose
There's a power steering hose on the supercharged engine that goes across the front of the engine. This hose has gotten a leak from it rusting. It's some kind of "cooling pipe" that is listed in a bonneville manual as "steering gear outlet hose" . I don't see a replacement from the usual places.
Is this high pressure or low pressure? If it's now available, can I put on some kind of PS cooler to replace this hose? Wonder why they used a cooler on non-supercharged motors and this pipe on the SC?! Thanks for any input. KennyC |

Re: 92 ultra power steeering hose
Well, I was confused by the picture and the description saying "with cooler". The "cooler" on the SC Park Ave is just an extended metal hose on the cradle at the front of the engine. The non-SC has the more common radiator type cooler. Hopefully just a generic pic of a PS hose because it doesn't look like what I need. I ordered it and we'll see.
Thanks for the reply HotZ. Even though this was an easy one for you, I have used your valuable advice on this forum countless times. KennyC |
