Lancia Delta Decals - Shunko or Studio 27 ??

Hey people ...
I'm currently building Hasegawas Lancia Delta . Unfortunately the kit decals are all dried up and therefore useless! So, while looking for aftermarket decals i really have two options : Shunko Models or Studio 27 ... So my question is : which ones should i buy? Has anyone have an expert opinion on this? I have used Studio 27 P/E but no decals of them and as for Shunko Models have no personal experience with their product. They both are around the same price, so any advice is welcome!
Thanks!

Re: Lancia Delta Decals - Shunko or Studio 27 ??

I have used Studio 27 on my Martini Delta and Shunko on the Martini Alfa 155. The Studio 27 decals work, but were a bit brittle, so they might break over the edges, therefore handle with care. The Shunko decals were very opaque and not easiliy damaged, but they didn't react much on the softeners I used, so you might have some trouble getting them to lay down properly around edges.

If you're building a Martini delta you can also consider Racing43 decals, they are the best decals of the market to me.
you can contact microsprint in Italy (Maurizio can have them all usually), hi store name on eBay is microsprint2009

Re: Lancia Delta Decals - Shunko or Studio 27 ??

I used Shunko decals on my recent Williams FW13b and found them pretty good to work with. They are quite strong and a little difficult to bend around tight corners, but overall are good decals. Studio 27 are also excellent decals, sometimes can, as already mentioned be a little bit brittle. But I normally find if they are new they are not as brittle. The Racing43 decals that Phil mentioned are superb!! If you can get them I would say they are worth using. What colour scheme are you doing? It might be worth painting the main centre colour and just using the decals for the outer stripes..

Re: Lancia Delta Decals - Shunko or Studio 27 ??

Thanks Guys! Yes i want the Martini version season 1992 ... I 'll check out those Racing43 decals for sure. If i can't get them i think I'll go for Shunkos , mainly because the Studio 27's dark blues look a little too bright in my eye.http://staticaf.com/vbulletin/images...sunglasses.gif
