Yes I I think at those fox.... and maryland... two words I heard in the past i imagined you re' not far!

Andy let me try to contact this gentleman, I wouldn't like to give you troubles, if I get a feedback I'll purchase from him, if I got troubles I'll ask your help!!!!

BTW Countryman is ever been in my modeling priorities/dreams, we discussed in past about minis, but I have another opportunity... and it's quite in the street/racing style.... Ok let's the business go and we'll see!!!

But I'm even more excited!!!!!

Re: Group Build- Road & Track

Hmm... I haven't been checking AF too frequently this year (nor have I been building models), but I started a new kit a while ago with the intention of actually finishing it, and I do like this group build idea. These two look nice on the shelf, even despite the difference in body proportions:

I'll try to join with a couple of E36 kits this time.

I'm in. now I need to pull my finger out to finish the three on the table first then to make a choice. The Lancia or the Mustang.

Re: 2016 Group Build- Road & Track!

At first I wasn't really into this since I build almost exclusively street cars.

But the new Civic coming from Beemax/Aoshima may be a kit I buy two of...

Or since the rules are stretched a little, a Super GT NSX could be matched with the real but fake Mugen NSX RR....

Re: 2016 Group Build- Road & Track!

Great Choice Viperofoz!!!

Heres my 2!

Yes you mightve noticed that both are Racing car kits, I'm going to use the Gulf Short-tail kit as a basis for my F1LM, I was going to get Fujimis F1LM until I noticed the only difference between the race car & LM is the decal sheet... which the racecar comes with most of them anyway....

Both kits will get a bit of extra detail & carbon love. the Fujimi F1LM needs a bit of TLC in the accuracy stakes which i'll try to correct. Downside for both kits is that you can build either open or closed doors, not sure if I'll have both open, 1 open or glue shut yet. Hope to have some progress soon.

Re: 2016 Group Build- Road & Track!

Great choices!! I was hoping someone would do F1s. Honestly I would do them myself- but I really want to do an F1 in the Fina/BMW works scheme, and I haven't been able to find the kit (or even just the decals).

Viperofoz, the Murci also is a very cool option- looking forward to seeing them.

I can relate all to well. If Beemax releases their BMW E30 M3 kit in the next few months...!

Re: 2016 Group Build- Road & Track!

This is what I (we?) are planning to do - will probably split this one with another member on here and a local builder with me building the race version.

Unfortunately it bothers me that S27 got the colour of the text on at least one of the decals wrong and with a couple of decals for the interior not there I suppose I'll need to get some custom ones made up. What's the best place for that in Europe, guys?

Cheers,
Alex

Re: 2016 Group Build- Road & Track!

What a great idea... I'm just starting my 3rd and 4th cars ever and guest what, by pure chance it's 2 Renault 5 turbos one rally one Road. The rally one is going to be the Marlboro version. I'm very slow at building so this suits me 100%
