G5 automatic transmissiom problem
I have a 2007 G5 that will only shift 1 time. The car was fine when parked. Any help with this problem would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced Jeff.

Check fluid level and condition?
Check for transmision codes? |

Jeff,
Have you brought this to attention of your local dealer? I can also look into this for you with your VIN. Please feel free to contact me via private message. Thank you. Tricia, GM Customer Service. |

Re: G5 automatic transmissiom problem
What do you mean by shift once? Can you take off in one gear, drive, then the car will shift once and you can keep driving with only the 2 gears or does it try to shift a third time but rev like it is in neutral? Does reverse work? Or does the car engage into gear once but will not move? How about when you manually shift from L to D? After checking the fluid and possible codes, the road test is the most important thing to figure out excatly what gears you have and in what ranges (shifter position).
