Has anyone replaced the factory radio on an 08 uplander/sv6?
Hi everyone.
I search this thread and the Montana thread without luck, so here is my question: Has anyone replaced the OEM radio on an 08 uplander/sv6? Did you just cut the wires and splice in the new stereo, or did you buy an aftermarket interface (and if so, which one) to keep all the chimes and stuff that GM wants to pass through the stereo? I have a great touch screen unit I purchased off of eBay and would like to install it, but was told I have to buy one of these modules or it will adversely affect the performance of my van because all the BCM signals go through the factory radio. Thanks in advance! Last edited by Wubs; 09-27-2014 at 12:19 AM. Reason: title change |
