Excited P11 GT-LE

Very excited, just about to get my first P11 GT-LE and own. Have been looking forward to this moment since I was 18 and first drove a P10 GT some 7 years ago.
NOTE: Don't lend you car to your children!!!

Stupidly I took it round a country road corner @ 110, thankfully it stuck to the road. Needless to say, the guy in the BMW M3 behind suddendly dissapeared at that point.

Got the car, a few things to sort.

1. Limited Edition 16" Alloys need re-working (As with all of these that were produced, the final paint finish is crap and has bubbled and pealed of. If any one knows of a good cost effective place to get these re-coated please advise
2. Misterious vibration above 110mph. Something somewhere is not in balance. All suggestions welcomed.

cheers for the support ragt!! will check out your site

WTF are you doing going 110mph??? Glad you hear you have a Primera again though. I would try google-searching for the wheel thing, as I have seen sites here and there that will redo wheels.

110 is that all ...hehe...

anyway are you in the UK, I assume so from the model of the car.....

if you are in the UK there are plenty of places that would sort out your alloys from around £25-£30 per wheel....

NPOC.co.uk ain't my site, its the UK primera owners club site, so any problems ya have I'm sure someone there will be able to help ya out.

look forward to seein ya there..

Firmly in and from the the UK.
Car colour is the same as most GT-LE's, Nordic Blue.
Another member of my family has the same car. A little newer but identical in every aspect including colour.

When I get round to it I'll stick a picture or two up on my website.

Welcome to the club, had a P11 GT LE for 3 years and still love it!

I'll be getting my alloys redone (front 2 anyway) for £30 each. It's a powder coating company in scotland (forget the name), but any company like that should be able to do it.

I thought most GT LE were silver?

It's a pity Nissan selected a duff third party for the wheels, the original finish seems to be appalling.

I've no idea, but in the 3 weeks I've had the car I've had no end of enjoyment.
Athough I still think an extra 30bhp to the stock 150 will make the car just spot on and match its superb handling.
