Where Do I Start?

I have a 1974 MG Midget that I would love to restore, I have had it for years and use to drive it 20 years ago and loved it. It's been in the garage for years and I just can't seem to start the restoration on it. I have never restored a car before so my BIG question is where do I start? The car is in good shape meaning the body is good it even has the original paint. I can't part with it because it's the car my wife and I went on our first date in 20 years ago.
So can someone tell me what it would take and how big of a prodject it is? What it may cost and where to get all the right parts to do it right....
I need Help in Vegas..........
Thanks
Jimmy
