how do I raise the idle on my q45
I have a '95 Q45. The idle seems a bit low. For all my other Nissans, I have the FSM, but it hasn't come in yet for this one. What is the correct way to raise the idle somewhat?
Thanks Jason really not liking having to replace the front passenger window actuator, but I did it.

I was just curious how much did the the replacement of the window actuator cost. Im also having trouble with one of my power windows on my 1994 q45.

it was about $80 I think, not much at all
the pain wasn't from the wallet, but from the arms trying to put the thing in

in regards to needing your idle raised, your computer should control it. But if you havent had your throttle body cleaned out, the buildup will decrease your idle speed. I suggestion cleaning out the throttle body first and recheck afterwards. If you want to do it yourself, take come carb cleaner and an old toothbrush, take the air inlet tube off, open the throttle completely, spray around the blade area. Then use the tooth brush to remove the sludge ridge. Reconnect the air intake. It may take numerous times. Also clean at the backside of the throttle blade itself too. After doing this, you will probably have to hold the throttle all the way down, like the old carb days when it was flooded, and crank the engine until it starts to catch. Rev it up a few times to finish clearing out the engine of the carb cleaner(fuel injector cleaner). Hope that helps ya out.
