Porsche 911 (993) RWB light .....or easily a Porsche Carrera RS
Hey guys....
Long time ago, that I presented here something at AF. I would like to show you a conversion of the longtime known Porsche 911 GT2 from Tamiya. They did the best 993 kit ever.... My dream was to have a Tool for the Nuerburgring here in Germany. Its only a scaled Ring-Tool, but mine.... YES it is the same kit from Tamiya.... Now I show you how I achieve that.... A resin copy of the Fujimi ducktail was thrown into the original GT2 backdoor... Italeri was the supplier for the idea of a domisticated race-car in OEM-style. So I used the front-bumper of the Italeri Porsche 911 turbo. Some surgery with Evergreen profiles.... The Race-Interior-Parts were domisticated with Styrene and Putty. Coated black and been flocked.... New Wheels were done with Pegasus Rings/Tyres. They have surprisingly the same Diameter outside than the Tamiya Wheels. The Fuchs Inlets are converted parts from www.saleproduction.de Automotive Car Primer from a 400ml Rattle Can... Tamiya Primer in Pink... "Blutorange" from a Dupli Color 400 ml Rattle Can. Less lamination strength are possible with it... Fitted Roof Spoiler from Italeri... SCALEPRODUCTION has done the first resin copy from my colour coated body. Nothing happened with it during this procedure. Chapeau Mike!!! With this first copy I did a revision and that is now a part/kit that you can get here: http://www.scaleproduction.de/produc...rrera-rs-.html New pimped Endparts for the GT2 exhaust. I used some parts from the 996 Tamiya Porsche... The enlargements of the GT2-body has to be smoothed down by a sanding stick. Thats it.... The result...... In the meantime got my 911 some sisters...

not an rwb, but a very nice conversion from gt2.
I agree is the nicest 993 around, even if so strictly pure racer.

Nicely done! It reminds me more of a Singer design rebuild than an RWB, but awesome nonetheless!
