Question CLR Radiator

Is it worth it to try to CLR a radiator that has low heat transfer, or should i go for the new one? I have seen aftermarket ones online for the $150-$200 range, is it just asking for trouble getting one of those and if so does anyone know about how much an OEM one costs?

Re: CLR Radiator

I believe using CLR on a radiator is a bad idea. It is not meant for this. As far as the cost of a new one I am not sure, hopefully someone else will chime in.

Re: CLR Radiator

I've used an aftermarket rad on my 92 Prelude si. I put it in 3 years ago and I have not had a problem with it. I think I bought it from radiator.com and they shipped it overnight (free shipping).
